Also known as Florence Fetish Week, this is a week-long celebration of the Florentine Fetish Community during the second week of September, starting on Saturday and lasting until Saturday, with events all over the San Ferdiano neighbourhood.
This celebration has been created in 1999, just as a fun idea to have something to celebrate, but since then has grown into a major part of the Florentine event calender.
It is made up of various events spread over the entire week and throughout the various fetish clubs of San Ferdiano. Many of the big events are used as fundraisers for a variety of local charities.
The Firenze Fetish Festa begins with a big fetish parade down the south bank of the river Arno on Saturday, and ends with another fetish parade in the opposite direction on the following Saturday.
Other big events are the Great Auction, where participants are ‘auctioned’ for 24 hours, with raised money given to charity, and the 48 hour charity sex marathon, where participants must continuously sexually service others for 48 hours, where every hour they can keep up more money is given to charity.
